BBC and CBS: Modern Ideals by garikaliev BBC and CBS: Modern Ideals by garikaliev

As the dictionary says, 这女子着实了得!! :'D

Srsly guys the show is awesome and your arguments against it looks just as stupid as Sharluck's.

EDIT: Please refrain from commenting unless you like Elementary as much as I do.
Comments criticising the show will be deleted.

I wouldn't have believed that anything could surpass Jeremy Brett, but both Sherlock and Elementary are amazing. The writers have different approaches and we get the benefit of two fascinating shows. (And two gorgeous Holmeses.)
I do have to say I avoid chats and blogs because I know how petty and just ridiculous fans can get, but I know from other examples, like the BBC v BBCA Being Human rivalry, that Brits seem very resentful of anything American. It's like New York v Los Angeles: one is snarky and the other doesn't notice or care. On the other hand, I can't figure out why I don't like RDJr's Holmes. I love him, otherwise!

Every version is great as long as it has something unique :) To me they are all different, so I love them all! :D Thank you for the feedback, it's a pleasure to get a sane comment here

Sorry, Matt Frewer's are produced between 2000 and 2002. My mistake.

Good job! It is obvious that ELEMENTARY'S Writers are SHERLOCKIANs. They figure out a *ELEMENTARY* Holmes. Also, their EASTER EGGs to the original are far more natural than "honourable" BBC Sherlock's. I'm so upset when I see numerous "Sherlock fan"(AT LEAST they think they are,and Sherlock's fan is a appropriate appellation--you know what I mean) yelling how awful the actually_fresco version is constantly. Besides, CBS has made two female Watsons in contemporary age in 1990s, and they are accepted by Sherlockians with alacrity. What happen to today's Sherlockians? They only know BBC2010's or Guy Ritschie's......even Matt Frewer's glorious one(2003-2005) are elided. And for a Sherlockian, it is not great when you have a new version to see? I am even beginning to doubt if those people ARE Sherlockians...

BTW, I prefer the Basil Rathbone's most (which as is known to all is also an American version and happens in the shooting era). And I am very glad when I heard CBS also appriciate that. Also, when comming to BBC, PC's films and CM&&MW 's dramatisations are the representative, not Sherlock2010.

Bref, there are so many good Holmes (sorry I don't know the plural form is Holmes OR Holmeses......) and most of them are NOT from UK: US's Basil Rathbone, Canada's Matt Frewer, Russia's Vasily Livanov, Australia's Richard Roxburgh......Cumberbatch is Okay, but "the best"? Far too much......

And it's weird that someone thinks "it is the canon"&&"US can't work out a good Holmes"&&"it is the best of all"&&"it is the first modern version".I am really sorry for acting like I am boasting......in fact, I am just wondering and complaining about some prejudice. Elementary is not preeminent, but this Holmes makes me feel comfortable. Again, I am very sorry for my captious.

That's right. But I just couldn't understand why a Sherlockian can only accept these two screen versions. I mean, either like none of them, or accept(not equal to "love") all.
